Family and freinds told him it was too hard or he was to old to try. Well after some things changed in his life, he got the chance to try radio and the rest, they say, is history.

He has been working in radio since 1997, where he started at KLPW in Washington, MO. Dan recently moved up to Iowa from St. Louis in 2002 where he was working at KTRS the Big 550. Dan still calls in every Thursday afternoon around 3:45 on the Frank Opinion Show!

You can see Dan on KCCI Channel 8 News, the #1 rated news in the state of Iowa, every Thursday morning around 7:35 a.m. for an Outdoors Dan Report.

Dan's main mission is to reach out to kids and get them involved in the outdoors as much as possible. He knows that the kids are the key to keep the outdoors growing!

He is on several prostaffs including Mathews Archery, Muzzy Broadheads, Bushnell Optics, Easy-Crest Arrow Wraps. Recently he was elected to the board of directors of the Iowa Bowhunters Association in the fall of 2003.
